Agentic Creator Messaging via MCP + Human-In-The-Loop
Thousands of creator replies a week. One AI agent drafting responses. Humans keeping it real.
We're sending out tens of thousands of messages to creators every week through the a/gentic’s Influencer Campaign Agents that work for brands.
But here's what happens next: thousands of replies flood in. And someone has to answer them all.
Until today, that was all manual. And just becoming untenable as our volume keeps growing.
So we built Creator Messaging MCP tools in our dtc.sh MCP server. Now we have an agent that checks for new replies every minute and writes draft responses. Let me show you how it works.
When Success Becomes a Problem
We went from celebrating every creator reply to drowning in them.
The math is brutal:
Send tens of thousands of hyper-personalized messages → Get thousands replies every week
Each reply needs checking creator history, brand terms, past conversations
Creator response times increasing
Your team ends up managing inbox chaos instead of building campaigns.
How the MCP Tools Work
We built four MCP tools in the dtc.sh MCP server that work together to solve this:
get_conversation_messages Pulls the entire conversation history between a creator and brand. Shows everything in order, newest first. The agent needs context to write good responses.
get_brand_details Grabs all the brand info - collaboration terms, guidelines, brief docs. Everything the agent needs to stay on-brand.
get_creator_details Gets the creator's stats - followers, engagement rate, shipping info. The stuff you need to know before responding.
draft_reply_to_creator Takes all that info and writes a draft response. Saves it for humans to review.
Here's What Actually Happens

A list of draft replies from the Creator Messaging Agent
Every minute, the agent wakes up and checks for new messages.
When it finds one, it:
Reads the whole conversation history
Checks the creator's profile and stats
Looks up brand guidelines
Figures out what kind of response is needed
Writes a draft
The draft goes to a human who can:
Send it as is
Edit it and send it
Flag it for special handling
Add personal touches

The Aftermath:
Response times dropped from days to minutes Creators get replies while they're still excited. Way more likely to follow through.
Everyone sounds like the same brand No more mixed messages depending on who's working that day.
The agent remembers everything Past conversations, what was offered, what was said. No contradictions.
Your team does real work Instead of copy-pasting templates, they build relationships with top creators.
Different Ways to Use It
High volume? Let the agent draft for everyone except your top tier creators. Humans focus on the big fish.
Onboarding creators? Agent writes the welcome emails, includes shipping info, schedules follow-ups.
Running campaigns? Agent knows current offers and deadlines. Adjusts every response automatically.
Humans Still Matter
The agent writes the boring stuff. Humans add the magic.
Humans jump in for:
Problems or complaints
Big creators who need special attention
Custom deals
Creative brainstorming
The agent handles facts. Humans handle feelings.
Want to Build This Yourself?
You need:
A place to store messages and conversations
Creator and brand databases
An MCP server to connect everything
A way for humans to review drafts
Analytics to see what's working
Or just use ours.
The Bottom Line
Creator marketing needs two things that seem impossible together: massive scale and real relationships.
This system gives you both. Agents handle the scale. Humans keep it real.
When you can reply to thousands of creators in minutes instead of days, when every response is on-brand but still personal, when creators feel heard while your team stays sane - that's when creator marketing actually works.
The future isn't agents replacing humans. It's agents making humans more human.
